Regional Programs
The Honor Flight © program first spread its
wings on May 21, 2005 at a municipal airport in Springfield Ohio
(http://www.airnav.com/airport/KSGH ).
Six small aircraft took to the air with 12 veterans. One chase
plane followed for support.
Now, Honor Flight © has certainly spread
its wings. Other bold, innovative leaders have spearheaded
programs all across the county.
Other organizations are developing and
growing all across the country on almost a monthly basis. Our
web site will be updated regularly to reflect the dynamic growth
of the Honor Flight © Network. Even if you do not see a
program in your state or near you, that does not mean we can not
get you on a flight. Please go ahead and send in your
application. You may very well qualify as a
Lone Eagle .
